Why does Leysieffer stop shipments when the outside temperature is 20 °C or higher?

In the summer months, some orders can only be dispatched at temperatures below 20 °C because confectionery products such as chocolate bars or chocolate truffles will melt at temperatures above 20 °C. As a result, high temperatures do not allow ordinary shipping and we can offer that the products are transported in a refrigerated vehicle. This is dependent on your explicit order. The refrigerated transportation is not required if the order consists exclusively of alcohol, tea, jelly or jam. You can also state on the order form that a shipment shall only take place at temperatures below 20 °C. If you do not state this and if you do not opt for refrigerated transportation, we cannot assume any liability for possible damage caused by high temperatures and you will then receive the shipment at your own risk.
